TrackMania Nations Forever is a free arcade car racing game which looks like a lot of fun. There’s solo and multiplayer modes, a shed load of stunt tracks and apparently millions of players going head to head at any one time. The graphics are enticing enough to keep you interested, and the in-game editor to create your own tracks is just icing on the cake. Vrooom…!

If you’ve already pirated your own copy of Fallout 3, then you’re surely aware that the Xbox 360 version of Fallout 3 has been leaked. Last month we told you about Aptus’ new line of Mini-Motion controllers that will be available for different games. Here’s some more info on the games. The games planned are called Cars of Fury, Hoverboard, and Home Run King. Yeah, they don’t sound all that swell. The skateboarding game comes with a miniature skateboard controller; the car game has a USB car; Hoverboard has a hoverboard etc.

Nintendo screwed over a lot of Earthbound fans by not releasing its sequel, Mother 3, in the states. Despite all the persistence the Earthbound community has demonstrated by forming petitions and massively spamming Nintendo Of America’s mail room, the folks at Nintendo feel that translating Mother 3 into English will not yield much profit in the states.

Square-Enix along with NeuroSky will unveil a mind-controlled gaming demo on Thursday at the Tokyo Game Show. It all works with a Windows PC and the MindSky headset. The PC runs Square’s software created specifically for the demo. The headset fits has earmuffs and an electrode that monitors brainwaves as you’re playing. Believe it or not, they say that the headset is even compatible with several different platforms.

I have been playing the Need for Speed series since it debuted for the PC and PS2 years ago. One of the things I missed most with Need for Speed Pro Street was the cop chases. Need for Speed Hot Pursuit was one of my favorite games in the series thanks to the police chases.

EA announced some new details for the latest title in the franchise called Need for Speed Undercover. The game will offer several online modes including modes similar to what we got on Pro Street for circuit race and sprint race.

Forget Star Wars Galaxies because a new Star Wars MMO has been announced and it’s going to take place in the time frame of Star Wars: The Knights Of The Old Republic.

I certainly did not bet on seeing a portable version of the Dreamcast eight years ago, but today we have super powerful handheld consoles like the Sony PSP and its less technologically proficient DS Lite rival which far outstripped the home consoles of the 1990s in terms of processing power. What happens when you want to get your defunct Dreamcast up and running in a portable form factor? Sega certainly won’t open its doors for you to enter into its R&D labs, leaving you to do things for yourself.
