Left 4 Dead
Yes, we already knew that there would be a demo for Valve's upcoming co-op zombie survival sim, Left 4 Dead. Therefore, we're not terribly surprised by Gabe Newell's comment to Edge that the demo (which will allow one to four survivors to play through an early part of the game's campaign) would be dropping in "early November" -- after all, the game is due out on PC and Xbox 360 on November 18, so a preview period of a couple weeks would have been a logical estimation.

Scratch: Ultimate DJ
Gamers who look forward to Scratch: Ultimate DJ next spring will be able to enjoy the game with a Numark controller - a name synonymous with quality DJ controllers used in decks of party venues worldwide. This title will be available on the Xbox 360 and PS3 platform, and is touted to feature a bunch of hip-hop artists although no track listings have been released at press time. Guess Guitar Hero really kicked things off, with Rock Band evolving the nature of this genre and Scratch: Ultimate DJ adding yet another dimension.
X8 gaming mouse
A gaming mouse that does not come with wires? Well well, this is definitely going against the grain, but Microsoft doesn’t care as they forge ahead with the SideWinder X8. This wireless gaming mouse relies on a 2.4GHz connection to keep it moving, and it is capable of hitting a ridiculously high 4,000 dpi to match the Razer Lachesis. I am personally using a Lachesis, and I don’t venture anywhere near that amount since it is way too sensitive for me in the midst of a firefight.
Drum Rocker
ION has announced its latest peripheral that targets the video game world - the Drum Rocker. This officially licensed Premium Drum Set for the Rock Band 2 video game has already started to ship to both customers and retailers, although the Xbox 360 version will be the first one out of the doors followed by releases on other gaming systems to come in the months ahead.
ProTee United launches ProTee Play
ProTee United is the #1 indoor golf simulator company in the world, and they have just rolled out their latest product known as the ProTee Play. This highly advanced computer game allows both avid golfers and gamers who love the game to enjoy a few rounds of indoor golf right behind their PC, reveling in the comfort of international golf courses in full 3D glory. I guess getting this allows you to enjoy your game no matter what the weather is like outside, but you will lack the exercise from all the walking around though.
3RD Space Vest
Just when you thought that Blizzard’s World of Warcraft could not get any more immersive, along comes more good news - TN Games’ 3RD Space Vest is now compatible with World of Warcraft, offering gamers a trio of dimensionally accurate tactile sensory stimuli that are coordinated directly with the game action. You can see it in action at the E For All Expo that is held in Los Angeles from this October 3rd till the 5th.
AirG peripheral for PopStar Guitar
Videogame publisher XS Games has lifted the veil on the innovative AirG peripheral that will accompany an upcoming video game known as PopStar Guitar. The AirG won’t be available across all three platforms, but will remain a Nintendo Wii exclusive to offer new game play dimensions to music rhythm games. What the AirG actually is, is an air guitar that enables gamers to drop all pretense and sense of self-consciousness by attaching the peripheral to the Wii Remote.
